Singer Kan Kaewsuphan dies at 74

 Veteran and legendary luk thung or folk song singer Kan Kaewsuphan died of colon cancer at Matta Pracharak (Wat Raikhing) Hospital in Suphan Buri province on Sunday morning. He was 74.

Kan, whose real name was Mongkol Homraruen, nicknamed Daeng, was born to a poor family in Sam Chuk district of Suphan Buri.

The video clip below, uploaded to YouTube by maypuk shows Kan Kaewsuphan singing "Nam Tan Kon Kaew". The song is about a man who still loves a woman even though she is with another man.
