 The Halleron family from the UK received an unexpected bonus when they booked a longtail ride along the coast of Phuket - a rare sighting of a killer whale just off Freedom Beach.

The Halleron's were holidaying at the Amari Phuket when the took the coastal tour.

According to the Phuket Marine Biological Center, Killer Whale sightings are rare around the Andaman, as the Orcas usually prefer deeper, colder water.
