Two Hong Kong superstars pray at the Erawan Shrine

Actors Simon Yam and Michell Yim visited the shrine on Tuesday as guests of Tourism Authority of Thailand.
They went to the shrine separately,
Yam, aka Yam Tak-Wah, arrived at the shrine around 4pm.
Yim, aka Mai Suet, followed over an hour later.
She donned a traditional Thai dancer’s outfit.
The two celebs were invited by Tourism Authority of Thailand to Thailand.
The presence of the two will help restore the confidence of Chinese tourists in the wake of August 17 deadly bombing.
The 60 year old stars are popular among Thai and Chinese fans.
Actress Mai Suet is seen in the latest advertising campaign of a brand of Thai bird’s nest soup.
Yam Tak-Wah was in the Kingdom last November to star in a short film celebrating the King’s 87th Birthday.
Both the stars love coming to Thailand for holidays.
They attended the event at Erawan Shrine without charging any fees. |
