More than 1,000 bicycle enthusiasts participated in the ‘Bike for King’ event in Bangkok on Sunday morning to mark His Majesty the King's 70th year of his accession to the throne this month.
The 13.7-kilometre cycling route started at Supachalasai Stadium (National Stadium), passed Rattanakosin Island, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), Sanam Luang and Ratchadamnoen Road before returning to the stadium.
The bike ride was organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports' Department of Physical Education.
