A 45-minute documentary about Black Mountain, voted the best golf course in Asia.
”There are few times in life when a great story present it self and is just waiting to be told” says Swedish filmmaker Mattias Brannholm: ”The story of Stig and how the award winning golf course Black Mountain in Hua Hin, Thailand was created and developed was one of those rare occasions”.
Stig Notlov grew up in the remote north of Sweden, some 100 miles north of the Artic circle. In his first professional career Stig founded and ran a highly successful hardware story in Scandinavia. In his second professional career, he created a master class golf course and a community around it at Black Mountain in the foothills above Hua Hin, Thailand.
“This is a film for golfers and people interested in a great story”, says producer and director Mattias Brännholm. “I enjoy golf and was mesmerized when I was told how Black Mountain came about. From Stigs endeavour as an entrepreneur in Sweden, how he barely escaped the tsunami and was forced to evacuated and how that in just ten years led to fulfilling a long time dream of building a golf course and winning numerous awards as one of the best golf course in all of Asia”.
